Day #155 “...And ye will not have a mind to injure earth other, but to live peaceably...”. So, there’s something interesting about this scripture today. Heavenly Father is letting us know that after we’ve received him and are baptized, and stay in the faith, enduring day to day faithfully, that we will begin to feel joy and to keep the peace with others around us. I’ve seen this happen in my life. In fact today, when my daughter asked if I was happy she was my daughter so that she could remind me to keep my metro ticket in my side pocket. I said yes. And, I really meant it. She has become an expert at google maps and the NY subway. I’ve been so impressed by her ability to navigate with such ease at only 15 years of age. I told her that “children are a heritage from the lord.” It’s so true! I’m so blessed to have Maria on this trip with me. (Hugs to the rest of the family in AZ or at BYUI). Peace starts with being at one with God, then becomes easier when we can love ourselves enough to repent. And, when we are at peace within our souls, we can begin to love our families and also our neighbors deeper than we ever have before. Simple right? Well, Sometimes. #messybookofmormonjournaling#mystyle#mystory#lds#peace#liveinharmony
Got my first ever hand stand push up on Thursday night and tonight at FNL I got 18 reps!!!! It was the most frustrating workout I have done yet.... hearing “no rep” over and over again when you’re giving it your all is defeating but I kept on pushing through. Proud of myself and everyone tonight who pushed their boundaries!!! The entire CFCR crew is full of superstars!
