Beautiful warm day today and really felt like spring time at the park☺️ Thankfully Ziggy slept for most of it cause he never took his morning nap, and after being feeding about 10 times through the night, this tired mama couldn't be dealing with a cranky baby 🀣
After my sun salutations I focused on yoga for my shoulders cause Ive always found them quite stiff and tight and always get painful knots along the back of them.
Well I wasn't expecting what happened...
My intention at the start of each session has been to shift any negative energy caught in my body and today
I had what I'd call an emotional release πŸ™Œ
I've heard of this happening in yoga, but never actually experienced it for myself.
It was like each time I breathed into a move, all the hurt, pain, anger, guilt, sadness etc. was being cleared out πŸ€—
I have to say, it feels fricken great to let that shit go, and I feel so much lighter after it!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁 Not even a week into this #40DayChallenge and already it is having a massive positive impact on me, plus my clothes are starting to fit better on me too 😊

✡M U D R A S: We use these hand gestures while practicing pranayama (breath work) or meditation to direct the flow of energy within the body. ✡ ✡Mudra means β€œseal” or β€œclosure” in Sanskrit. Different parts of the hands are connected with areas in the body and the brain. So when we place our hands in specific mudras, we are able to stimulate different areas of the brain and create a specific circuit of energy flow. When we hold these 🀚🏽 positions we are able to target an improved state of mind. ✡ ✡The universe has 5 elements (space, air, fire, water, and earth) Our hands are thought to hold energetic points for all of these elements! Cool right?! And here’s the best part, when these elements are out of balance, we have the power to regain control and put our bodies back in check by simply using our hands with Mudra!✡ Our Thumbs represent SPACE
