It might be tough to stick with a new practice at first- especially when it's not always filling you with joy and sparkle- because let's face it, a yogic or meditation practice has its challenges for sure. But the beautiful thing about it is that we are giving ourselves a daily choice, of either stepping into who we really have the full capacity to be, or staying in our 'comfort' zones where we are. .
The truth is that for most of us our comfort zone isn't actually that comfortable, but it's where we've hung out for a while and it's what we know how to do. Even if on a deeper level it causes us some pain or lethargy or sadness or _____ (fill in the blank). .
Just make one decision today to step towards yourself. Your highest self is right there waving back at you with all the love and enthusiasm for life that's waiting to explode inside you. You just need to take one step. Even if it's super hard, just one tiny baby step. .
Actually, you don't even have to move. Just acknowledge it inside yourself, smile and say Hey.
