The common misconception about Long Island is that people who have never visited think we live on a giant two way road with water on each side. The reality is that there are almost 8 million Long Islanders that live on a beautiful island that is 118 miles (New York Harbor to Montauk Point) and an island that spans 23 miles North-to-South. While driving earlier today I thought to myself, this must be what people from outside of New York often think. So I decided to go about 1/3 of a mile into the sky and see just how narrow a giant twocway road with water on each side looked like! This was less than 1 mile! There's your #SundayFunday#LongIsland facts!! BY THE WAY this image and many others are now available for purchase via my online gallery brought to you by @liphotogallery Link is in my bio if you know anyone looking to liven up their home or office with some cool aerial photographs as well as a bunch of others Thanks so much for the support and I love you all!
