Do real people exist anymore on social media platforms? Everywhere I look I see woman with makeup and their hair done always looking picture perfect. Or see people going on extravagant vacations and buying beyond expensive materialistic things. Anything to get a lot of likes on social media these days it seems. That's what society is. We photoshop our problems away. We take pictures only when we look our best because that's what gets likes and views and comments. Because people think we look pretty then. Society has become so fake and so up our own ass that we think we need to look perfect all the time for people to like us. We look for validation on social media. IT IS % ok to NOT BE PERFECT ALL THE FUCKING TIME! Its ok to have acne. It's ok to look rough when you wake up. It's ok to go out without make up on because that's the REAL you. Stop being so hard on yourself ladies. Life is not about likes and views. Love who are naturally just as much as you love yourself with a full beat face. Probably the most common question I get is: how to shrink pores on nose and make them smaller.
Answer: Unfortunately, that is impractical since the size of pores is genetically determined. Although, we can clean the pores and they will appear smaller. The buildup of dead skin cells, dust, makeup leftovers create an appearance of bigger pores, but once they are cleaned, it looks like they got smaller

How do you feel right now?
Like you're lost - In an identity crisis, unsure of who you really are?
Or found - truly at peace with yourself?
Looking at this left photo makes me quite emotional.
I was completely lost.
And that's how I lived my life for so many years, accepting I'd be that way forever.
I remember taking this photo like it was yesterday.
I sent it to my best friend before going to see my boyfriend.
Talking about how upset I was over how disgusting I looked and I didn't know if I could bare to have him see me.
Masked behind double false eyelashes, doublewear foundation, double lashings of mascara, eyeliner, bronzer, contour, blusher, brow pencil, my appearance consumed my entire life.
Without this mask, I was nothing.
And even with it all on, I was still never actually okay with myself, never mind happy.
Fast forward to now.
I am found.
And I am free.
Sometimes it does take getting lost to truly find yourself.
I hid away from the world for almost a year last year with depression and anxiety.
It was the first time in years that people saw me without makeup as mental health professionals came out to my home and I was an inpatient in two hospitals.
And I just couldn't be bothered with anything so makeup was the last thing I wanted to apply.
They actually kept telling me to put make-up on everyday to make myself feel better.
Why weren't they teaching me to work on my issues that were making me feel insufficient without it in the first place?
I did manage to get there in the end, all by myself.
I now wake up in the morning and know that I am good enough exactly the way I am.
And I no longer need to hide.
I have learned to love myself on the inside and is that not more beautiful that any makeup ever will be? Make peace with the mirror and watch your reflection change
And know that your beauty has nothing to do with how you look, but everything to do with who you are....
