My uncle showing me how they've gotten through the recent dry season with an irrigation well they've recently dug in their garden to water the plants. It's hard work so much respect for the farmers in Uganda who've worked so hard during the drought using all sorts of methods to keep food on our tables. Thankful for their hard work and dedication to farming and for the long awaited rain that has finally come #farming#irrigation#drought#water#rain#eastafrica#keepfarming#villagelife
Seweweekspoort Pass, or Seven Weeks Poort, is a rugged mountain ravine that lies just at the start of the Klein Swartberge and near to the Towerkop Nature Reserve. Gamkapoort Dam is a gravity type dam located on the Gamka River, near Prince Albert, Western Cape, South Africa. It was established in 1969 and its primary purpose is for flood control.
Upon further investigation (talking to the locals), the perposed purpose for the dam was a lie, and the actual purpose was for and only benifit of the local Farmers.
