It’s been a little over a year since my last competition and I made a decision to hit the stage once again. Believe it or not, my new fitness journey started only 15 days ago. It is truly amazing what the human body is capable of doing with the perfect combination: the right support team @drbobbychiro who is a huge contribution to my recovery, performance, and growth; @hardknoxx_coach_ant & my coach @hardknoxx_coach_mark, along with the right mentality, with 100% trust in the process, and most importantly the will to win regardless of the sacrifices that are needed to be made. I didn’t realize the difference til I got the response “Damn that’s 2 weeks!” From my coach. That’s when I decided put these comparison pictures together and was completely shocked myself. Sometimes as u go through the process you never really feel like you’re doing enough or on schedule, but as long as you stay determined & focused on the process, big results will eventually happen
Unfortunately high level of responsibilities won’t allow me to compete in Hawaii in 7 weeks as planned. But I believe 10 weeks, in what is now my home town, is where I will present my best package yet. I am truly excited to be hitting the stage next in the Masters Class in the the best shape of my life on March 31st at the @jaycutlerdesertclassic here in Vegas. Light or heavy, extra resistance or not, sumo/traditional/close legged; Slowing your squats for full range of motion plays a major part of your gains each muscle. Give every muscle the opportunity to maximize on your result & growth from every rep. Give your mind the chance to catch up with every contraction & extension by focusing on your kinetic checkpoints throughout the entire movement. This will enable you to fully fatigue the muscle you are working.

Going into this prep like
One of the biggest things I’ve learned from one of my closest friends @hardknoxx_coach_ant and through the trials & error of life, is that you gotta do your best to have fun with your prep. Accomplishing difficult goals & new levels in life don’t always have to be a hard grueling struggle. But that is obviously a mindset you must implant every morning as you wake up blessed with another day of life to make a better version of yourself. So wake up, be thankful, smile, stick your tongue out, give yourself a wink, and say “I GOT THIS!”
Only 2 days into solid prep and the difference in my performance levels is through the roof. Put the right premium fuel in, you’ll get premium performance out of it. This prep I’m going to play with my workouts and add more circuit, HIIT, functional movements while staying on point with my nutrition to see how my body responds. Time to hit a new level of fitness this year.

If your trying to reach new levels of fitness or change your lifestyle, you first have to find “solutions” and not excuses why you can’t before you even start.
Like the saying goes, “If there’s a will, there’s a way.” Don’t give reasons to keep doing what you’ve always done, or else your always gonna get what u always got. Becoming healthier and trying to reach a goal you’ve never gotten before also in includes major SACRIFICE. So be set in your mind, that your willing to sacrifice for the things you really want before you start talking about it.

Here’s a good compound movement to work your biceps & rear delts, while challenging your stabilizers. Not the best video(angle) but hopefully this gives you a good idea on new workout to add to your regimen. Slow down your movements to get the mind muscle connection & full contractions. Enjoy!

What an amazing turnout for my first day of Holiday Fit Camp! This group made a big sacrifice and even bigger commitment to come out here on a Saturday morning and just dominate this workout. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. This is just the beginning and I’m looking forward to growing with you all on your fitness journeys through this new part of my program.
