O W N E R S H I P • I’ve been thinking a lot about ownership recently. How important it is to take responsibility for our life choices rather than simply living out of habit.
Every day, we make decisions which accumulate moment by moment, hour by hour, week by week, year by year, to form our future. We are the sum of these choices: how many cups of coffee we drink, the food we eat, the way we spend our time, how we spend our money, how we interact with family and friends, how we treat our colleagues, how often we work out, how often we meditate and do yoga.
Yoga and meditation are practices that teach us how to slow down and become more attentive. As we become more aware of the inhale, the exhale, the pause between each breath, so too do we become more aware of the space we have each moment to make a choice. To respond, rather than react. To make decisions (big and small) that are aligned with our overarching intention, whatever that may be.
“We should every night call ourselves to an account; what infirmity have I mastered today? What passions opposed? What temptation resisted? What virtue acquired? Our vices will abort of themselves if they be brought to attention every day to the shrift.” Seneca
Dedicating to all the dreamers and achievers across the world. Once upon a time all the achievers thought it was impossible but once upon a time they finally achieved it. Their dreams came true. When you feel that something is impossible to achieve, go ahead, keep dreaming and working smartly toward your goals regardless of the life’s circumstances. A day awaits for your DREAM COME TRUE... God be with you and make you succeed. ———————————
