Headlines daily...even in mainstream media, telling us about harmful substances causing cancer, autoimmune disorders, high incidents of disease. The U.S. falls behind in many areas of safety...and plenty of times it is tied to money and protection of powerful companies. Just today, Johnson & Johnson was held accountable for knowingly adding toxic talc to their products...products used on babies and trusted for decades. It's time to vote with your money. I'm tired of seeing young people die, my friends suffer from unnecessary affects from products deemed "safe" for the American public. I dare you to check your bathrooms, under your kitchen sink, your medicine cabinet, skincare products, and if that it too much to address all at once...check the products you use on your children. The Think Dirty app is an easy way to get an honest rating on the items you use...food, household items, you name it! I'm so thankful for the information + the conviction to ask questions, even when I stand alone. People may think I'm crazy for checking labels and making my own products, yet I cannot unlearn what I've learned. I'm always happy to share โค๏ธ๐ŸŒฟ.

Back to basics ๐Ÿ™Œ Grocery haul from this week because I've got goals!! It's funny though because my meal plan allows me ALL of the foods I love ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿฅ‘๐ŸŒฎ and teaches me exactly HOW MUCH of each food I need to eat to reach my goals and maintain them. What's your favorite thing to do on a family weekend? .

We recently discovered Batting Cages as a fun family activity! One weekend we were all getting bored at home and decided to go out! But we didn't want to just go out to eat, I feel like that's so over done!! My kids were bursting with energy and to be honest, so was I!

This was so much fun guys! My son, my daughter , my husband and myself pitched 30 balls each and felt GREAT!! I highly recommend it.

When your kids see you being active and eating healthy, they think this is the norm! They don't know anything different then. Our kids are always looking up to us as examples. Doing an outdoor activity with your family can be such a great stress buster for you too! Plus you get the added benefit of tired kids which translates to sooner or easier bed time xSo everyone wins! There's been so many times where I've tried to hide my flaws because to me they seemed like the WORST thing in the world. I would feel like everyone was staring or talking about them when really, everyone is too caught up in there own lives to be worried about me and what I look like! .

Maybe you feel insecure about something to. Maybe you're doing what I did and spending all this energy focusing on all these little things which in my experience, is a pretty crappy way to live. .

If thats the case take some advice from me: Do things that make you feel really uncomfortable. Do things that scare you.

Force yourself to be confident even when your not feeling it.
.
.
I guarantee you that nobody is focusing on your imperfections as much as you are, and I also guarantee you that the more you do it, the less of an insecurity they will become for you to.

Do you ever feel like you take your environment for granted? I know I do! Having gratitude for the home we live in and the bed we get to sleep in each night is a great place to start. Even if the home space you live isnโ€™t your ideal space, even if you're striving for bigger and better or living with your parents right now and wish for that to be different, even if your home is small, old or just not what you want for the future there is always a way to be grateful.

Just having a safe place to live and a roof over our heads is something we should feel grateful for each day.
To extend on this let's also today put some focus towards our surroundings in nature. The simple act of going for an early morning walk can help you get in touch with nature. Feeling the sand between your toes on the beach. Going for a swim at the beach or bush walking and taking in the all the scents of the flowers and trees and feeling the sunshine on your back.

If we donโ€™t actively seek beauty we will not find or appreciate it! So what can you do in the next week that will help you find more beauty in your surroundings?
