~ Its been almost 10 years since we were last in Morocco and at the moment it seems like so much has changed.
~ It’s feels a lot more European now but thankfully it has still managed to keep its own identity and culture.
~ We have yet to travel further South and inland so it will be interesting to see if things have changed there too ~
~ First stop on our drive through France was here at the stunning Mont Saint Michel.
We didn’t plan on stopping here but we could see it from motorway. One look was all I gave Steve and he knew that I wanted to stop here for the night and get some photos.
Although there are camper stops near here we found it much better to use the tourist car park. There is a designated area for vans. It was 17 euros for 24 hours and was in walking distance of Mont Saint Michel. There are also free shuttle buses from the car park if you don’t want to walk.
There are no facilities here though so come prepared ~
