I hope you all had a good Monday today! I just wanted to share one of my favorite makeup tricks before #makeupmonday was over.
I've had a lot of people tell me they love the look and coverage of "full coverage" foundations but they hate the weight, thickness or tackiness of it so they would rather use something like a BB cream and deal with blemishes showing through. Luckily you don't have to have the weight and heaviness of your foundation to achieve full coverage!
There are plenty of full coverage foundations that aren't heavy, but if that isn't your jam then all you need to do is add a couple dabs of your favorite concealer to whatever foundation you love, or a BB cream, or a tinted moisturizer, mix it together and BAM! Full coverage with no weight.
When you're in a rush and you don't want to do much with your makeup but you still want something on your face, I definitely recommend using your favorite tinted moisturizer or BB cream, as they spread quick and easy like applying lotion, and all you have to do is add a little bit of concealer to do the trick. If you do that, then add a little mascara and add a little fullness to your brows if you don't already have perfect dreamy eyebrows then you're good to go and it takes less than five minutes.
My favorite foundation to mix concealer with is the it cosmetics - Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream with SPF 50+" and mix it with any of their Bye Bye Concealer's.
Next up in this series is my @colourpopcosmetics face product collection! *NOTE: I have to do this collection in a few different posts because I have too much to fit into one photo.
• I love the CP highlighters! They're amazingly pigmented & are super creamy. They apply best with fingers or a damp sponge.
• Sculpting Stix (not pictured) are awesome contours if you're not into the harsh contour. They blend out nicely, to almost nothing but you can easily build them up.
• Eyebrow products (not pictured) are my holy grail brow products. I use the pencils daily & sometimes use the pomade if I want a more defined brow. They're easy to work with, don't budge & super affordable.
• The bronzer & blush are beautiful colors but I found they dried out fairly quickly.
