It was a FANTASTIC mail week!!! Waiting on a couple more products to come in (I'll post those in my "emergency kit" post I'm working through)! This is what we've got: •
@skinmedica#tnsrecoverycomplex - we ALL know my OBSESSION with essential serum. But it's not about what WE want but rather what's best for our skin. That serum was perfection for my skin last winter (for my skin type winter is best time of year anyways for that; however this time around - although approaching cooler months ahead - I'm going strictly with the growth factor. This particular growth factor is safest for more sensitive skin types, acne/acne prone skin types, skin types prone to rosacea AND rosacea patients as it will work to reduce inflammation, heal skin, reduce redness and reverse damage. That's what my goal is. To continuously reverse damage through boosting my skins barrier and repairing my skin. I can get more into it - in a separate post - if you guys want - on why I personally chose and move growth factors for my skin and what I expect from them outside of just being "antiaging". Growth factors ALWAYS have been a staple for me but not just for anti aging. But truly for repairing my skin- @skinbetter#alto#eyes -- does this need an explanation?! I think not!!! 19 diff antioxidants to protect your skin from environmental stressors (hello?!), free radicals, boost radiance - reduce redness and inflammation all in which will restore my barrier and repair as well. Clearly there's a ground base here - repair! Restore! Repair! Restore! @skinmedica#ha5 isn't "new". In fact it's my bottle from last winter but this is a definite winter must have. And although I haven't used it in a while I will def reintroduce in a few months @skinceuticals#hydratingb5gel -- this has been on my wish list for some time. I am excited to have some samples for when I'm ready. I will be working with @you.skincare#hydrationserum through winter as I need that serum so much and don't want to change it while I am introducing other things. Plus, once I do my review you'll know exactly why my skin "NEEDS" that serum!
What do we think guy?! I am so gitty with excitement.
New #OnTheBlog - my current skincare routine
This combination has worked wonders for my acne-prone, dehydrated skin! My skin is clearer, brighter, more even and smoother. I think cutting back on the different products I use has really helped.
Check it out to see my thoughts on all these products - there's a direct link in my bio
Have you tried any of these?
ICYMI: Monday I had a Clear & Brilliant treatment @enlightendallas to address acne scarring & I am LOVING the results! I was only pink & swollen for less than 24hrs, shedding is minimal so you don’t feel like you need to hide from the world for a week, bonus right?? Incredibly grateful to the Enlighten team for helping me through this process I used @hydropepide LumaPro C 2x day to maximize fading since the skin is more permeable after treatment Swipe to see the progression First pic is numbing, it ALWAYS cracks me up when I’m numb, especially when your lips have lost all feeling Next is pre-treatment, showing scarring, followed by 24 hours later. You can already see improvement even under the rough dead layer! Finally, the last pic on day 4, skin is glowing, hydrated, & scarring is greatly minimized (the big red spot towards my jawline is a cyst that is on its way out) (p.s.s. see the progression of clean to dirty hair lollllll). I’ll be back in a few weeks for a second treatment to fade remaining post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. There’s no emoji to symbolize how freakin’ excited I am!
@thefaceshopcanada was having a 20% off storewide event so I saw this as an opportunity to try some #belifcanada products!
Crystal Cleansing Foam Fresh - lately I have been loving gel cleansers, this was suggested to me by the manager.
First Aid Transforming Peel Off Mask - during my complementary mini facial they used the First Aid soothing mask but I saw this and wanted to give it a try. This product claims to remove dead skin cells and tighten pores which is what your girl desperately needs!
Mild and Effective Facial Scrub - of course I had to stock up on my favourite scrub!
WHAT IS IN MY TOILETRY BAG
How do you bring your skincare/makeup from a to b? I use this small and handy toiletry bag from @muji_global ^^. Because I don't use make up on a regular basis you don't see any makeup on the photo. Make up makes me even more insecure . Especially foundation accentuate all the imperfection of my skin texture instead of covering it..

The Misconception: "I've got that twenty-something glow happening. Why on earth would I need an anti-aging cream?"
The Facts: Unless you own a wood's lamp, you cannot see damage to the deeper layers of skin. Using SPF is important and adding a retinoid is a close second to prevent future wrinkles and sun damage.
Banila Co Clean It Zero Classic
Neogen Green Tea Cleansing Stick
Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner
Huxley Oil Essence
Sulwhasoo First Care Activating Serum
Pola Sakura Veil Eye Cream
Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream - this is my current go-to PM moisturiser and I love it so much! The cream is a little thick but I feel that my skin drinks it so well that it’s not greasy at all. My skin feels super amazing - smooth, clean and hydrated. It doesn’t have a strong smell, which is a plus point for me. I will definitely try other products from this brand. Any recommendation?
