We got a call from the neurologist today about Leo’s recent MRI. Complicated, but there was a “cleft” in the right temporal area, and some volume loss. He said there was no tumor and no signs of trauma, and he classified it as “mild.” Bottom line is we “let the dust settle,” in his words, and see him in six months. And, we’re down to only one medication, and so far Leo remains seizure-free. #adoption#epilepsy#leoiscomplicated
Why take the time to make an informed choice about your pregnancy?
This is one of those choices in life that affects your future - MAJORLY.
So often, women and men look back, wishing that they had been better informed about what was possible. The simple fact is: you do have options. Don't think for a minute that you have to be in this alone. We want to come alongside you, empowering you to be all that you can be! You can do more than "make it through this." You can thrive! Don't settle for less.
Yes, there is so much to know, and of course you can never know it all; but you ARE capable of making a good decision. A great decision.
We can help you! If you think you might be pregnant, here's your action plan for making an informed and empowered decision:
1. First, you need a pregnancy test, which we provide free of charge!
2. You need to medically confirm that you're pregnant through an ultrasound. The ultrasound will confirm that you are really pregnant, tell you how far along you are and look for viability. We also have free confirmation ultrasounds!
3. Once you know how far along you are and have your pregnancy confirmed, you will have a Patient Care Assistant to tell you all of your options.
Our patient care team is ready to listen, offer understanding, answer your questions, and help you make a plan! Give us a call! 231.929.3488

“Unexpected kindness is the most powerful, least costly, and most underrated agent of human change” - Bob Kerrey
Today was such a special day for me, I get choked up recalling the kindness that was shown to me by a family that I met two weeks ago at work.
I was lucky enough to work with this family at @ashleyhomestore a few weeks ago and we really connected on a personal level through similar life experiences that we were able to share with each other while they were shopping.
Everyone wants to know where they come from. For me I’m not really sure because I’m adopted! It’s not something I talk about very often and many people don’t know. I have pretty much zero ♀️ information on my biological parents so this is going to be very interesting. Can’t wait to see what happens
