This is Prudence. Prudence has had 2 children. Prudence likes to go to the gym & lift heavy shit. One day Prudence wanted to go for a PB. Prudence decided to accessorise with a belt as her core isn't what it used to be (having pushed 2 children out of her vagina) and she felt needed a little help. Prudence tightened her pink belt, braced herself, held her breath & squatted down. Prudence went to stand up... But the pressure on her core was too much! It had to go somewhere! It couldn't go up! It couldn't go out! It had to go down!!! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ฒ Poor Prudence now lives in a plastic bag, I'm my car, for fear of going out and something dropping out. She is now known as Prudence the Prolapse chicken.

Don't be like Prudence. Choose gloves not a belt. Spot your squat not your pelvic organs. Obviously, Prudence was not a member at p6. #ifonlyshedbeenatp6
Saying that, I do use one occasionally if my back is niggly, but for support on my back, not my core & would therefore be lighter anyway.... Pure Feminine Wrath y'all. This babe (I like to call her Amanda Warrior Princess) teamed up with me (some people like to call me Snaxx) to compete in Fight Gone Beer - benefitting the @houstonspca - last night. 1min max wall ball, 1min max SDHP, 1min max box jumps/step ups, 1min max push press, 1min max plate GTOH - 3 rounds with 1min rests in between...also we had to finish a beer each round before the 1min rest started. We took second place in our division (only a few teams competed, but it's still an accomplishment), and had so much fun and I'm so thankful that I never have to chug a beer during a WOD ever again. Killer Babe Club is the best place to be. Tomorrow we start a 2 month fitness challenge at @cfthunderdome. Right after today's partner WOD. Two movements today have been weight on my shoulders - 20" box jumps (since I fell a couple months ago, and it felt like my leg was ripped off), and rope climbs (which I've put off practicing for years because I'm afraid of heights). Although I did 16" jumps today, I tried working on getting on the rope. It was minimal, mostly because my movements are poop (I'm new at it!), but trying is better than nothing. We got a significantly lower amount of rounds than everyone else, but what matters is that we worked as hard as we could. Then we ran a mile. It's hard to be neutral about not being proficient at every movement/weight/height/time, but working to become proficient in all those aspects is what matters. Work and discipline to continuing working, even though your ego is bruised because you feel like a potato around a bunch of lulu models. I'm just glad we can gas each other up when we feel like we've reached our breaking point in a WOD. Just finished #wod4wheels last weekend with my incredible partner @shelby_j2012. The whole day was amazing, and seeing @cfthunderdome support adaptive athletes so passionately was so heart warming. These athletes put in their all and it's inspiring, and the true spirit of crossfit. Lately I've been happy with the progress I've made in the box - handstands, pull ups, PR's, RXing essentially every WOD. Food, however has been my vice. I haven't consistently counted macros in weeks, and I feel it. It's time to grab my discipline by the throat and get some real work done. Today I bumped up my protein to 150g and I'm psyched to see what will happen. I'm always nervous about adjusting my macro count, but I know when I count consistently things happen. My bff and cf partner Amanda (Warrior Princess) and I have big goals. We've been working so hard, and it's awesome to finally have a workout babe that wants to put in work. She has given me the gas needed to keep grinding to my ridiculous goals that seem unreachable at times.
