One of today’s BOGOs is Spearmint so let’s learn about how awesome Spearmint is
Spearmint is a perennial plant that grows 11–40 inches tall and flourishes in temperate climates. It is widely used in gums, candies, and dental products for its minty taste, and to promote fresh breath. Spearmint has been used for centuries for its digestive benefits*. Its sweet, refreshing aroma is cleansing and uplifting, making it ideal to evoke a sense of focus and positive mood. Spearmint is very different from Peppermint, making it a milder option to use on children and those with sensitive skin. In cooking, Spearmint is frequently used in salads, drinks, and desserts, but it can also be used in homemade salad dressings and to marinate meats.
The lovely @lilylunaa sent us this last night!
Detox, destress and tighten FACE MASK (makes a good amount - so you can share with yo friends, family, roomies, coworkers, or jar that stuff for later too #treatyoself )
- 1/2 cup Bentonite Clay (purchased at Whole Foods) this stuff absorbs toxins, helps to tighten skin and cleanse - when moisture is added this clay creates a negative electric charge, allowing it to do these wonders
- Add apple cider vinegar (until desired) - #applecidervinegar restores proper pH levels and works with the oils to #restore blemishes, scars, & pimples)
- 4 drop Frankincense
- 4 drop Lavender - 2 drop Eucalyptus
Let sit... harden... and tighten your face for 30 mins
ACV has a wide range of positive uses + side effects! It can help improve heart health, give your immune system a boost and help you maintain clearer skin! Of course, I say this keeping in mind that these remedies can be best benefited from when we follow a Plant Based diet
You take it in shot form (it gets better I promise) or you can dilute one tablespoon of it in 6-8 ounces of water with some LEMON! XOXOO
