'Je knie mag niet over je tenen heen.' EΓ©n van de grootste fabels van de fitnesswereld. Dit heeft allemaal te maken met je structuur. Je dorsi flexie bepaald onder andere in hoe verre je knie in flexie kan komen tijdens een quadsquat. Wanneer deze minder is kan je gebruik maken van een hiel elevatie. Zo creΓ«er je meer knie flexie waardoor meer torsie ontstaat bij t kniegewricht waardoor de spanning in je quadriceps nog meer toeneemt. Het gewricht wat het verste weg is van de barbell ontvangt de meeste torsie, zoals je bij de eerste 2 foto's ziet. Wees bewust van wat je wilt trainen tijdens een squat.
