Push and pull this morning. My bench #PB was followed up by some heavy, bent over rows, seated #militarypress 50kg x 10 shown here and straight legged #pullups (which is was cut off in this vid app ) THATS IT. 3 heavy compound movements all using a #barbell. This is what my training regime has comprised of for this entire #prep. I've had some amazing compliments, people commenting about the maturity and density of my physique.VERY flattered for one. But two this has really all come from training in those heavy compound movements people love to scrutinize. The coach has tweeked my volume and load over time as we near closer to #competition time. But this training is what I #love. My mind set has changed so much over time and #experience. From someone who used to train for hours, trying to isolate particular #muscle groups to now someone who comes in with a motive and then I'm out the door dedicating that time to improve other aspects of my life outside the #gym.
