It's really hard sometimes to make the switch between parent and worker, especially as my younger son has autism. Getting him ready for school takes patience. I find listening to a podcast after school run helps me to make that mental shift from carer to copywriter. Taking notes is strangely calming too. #smallbusiness #podcast #journal #freelancer #copywriter #carer #autism #workfromhome #takingnotes #writing

When you remember that EVERY SINGLE CHILD has strengths, and that those strengths can be used to encourage their limitations, anything is possible. Validation is basically my fave word everrrr, and I'll be banging on about this for two days straight at every single workshop I do this year! β˜ΊοΈπŸ™ŒπŸΌπŸ₯ Don't miss out!! Yes. I am autistic. I usially don't talk about it but I feel like I have to be honest with my followers and friends. I have Asperger's Syndrome. My brain is different than for normal human. I am different. For most part of my life I felt bad about being "the weird nerdy kid". I was bullied and mentally abused, depressed and suicidal. Now that I'm a grown woman everything changed and I'm proud of my unique mind. I learned to love myself, my body, my soul.
You all know I'm a writer. I write novels and poetry... But also I'm secretly somewhat of a journalist. I semi-anonymously wrote two very popular articles about autism for one of the biggest polish sites, that have been read by over 200 000 people. I do a lot of projects anonymously and in secret. I'm constantly working on something new. I'm a workaholic and way too ambitious πŸ˜…
So there is that. A part of me that you didn't know about...

Drawing is method. Drawing is coping. Drawing is surviving in a neuronormative world. By making object of others I'm spared being forced to be subjected to their standards.
