THE GODFATHER PART III [ 1990 ], directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
A long-awaited final chapter of a legendary gangster saga.
In this final instalment of "The Godfather" Trilogy, an aging Don Michael Corleone (Al Pacino) seeks to legitimize his crime family's interests and remove himself from the violent underworld but is kept back by the ambitions of the young. While he attempts to link the Corleone's finances with the Vatican, Michael must deal with the machinations of a hungrier gangster seeking to upset the existing Mafioso order and a young protoge's (Andy Garcia) love affair with his daughter Mary (Sofia Coppola). This movie is generally underrated because it is more intellectual, subtle, and psychologial then the first two. Now a much older and wiser Michael, with his health worsening looks kinda down and out of his luck for some reason. Always followed by tragedies, as a punishment for his past sins. The film is considered to be the worst of all three, but not by much in my opinion. Can't complain about anyone's acting besides Sophia Coppola's. Everyone else was believeble. A very climatic ending was very well shot, making this film a decent ending to a great story.
Regardless of all the negativity coming from the critics, I still consider this a beautiful film, visially wonderful, and of great importance to the genre, completing the tragic saga of the Corleone family.
Full of brilliand shots and unforgettable sequances, "The Godfather Part III" indeed is as good as the first two, but in it's own way, and gets no less then 10/10. #TheGodfatherPartIII#alpacino#taliashire#andygarcia#sophiacoppola#gangster#mafia#corleone#doncorleone#moviereviews#awesomemovie#varican#drama#filmreview#moviereview
"Sometimes since I've been in the garden I've looked up through the trees at the sky and I have had a strange feeling of being happy as if something was pushing and drawing in my chest and making me breathe fast. Magic is always pushing and drawing and making things out of nothing. Everything is made out of magic, leaves and trees, flowers and birds, badgers and foxes and squirrels and people. So it must be all around us. In this garden - in all the places." Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden

This new horror/scifi film is about people who discovers a new life from on Mars as life tells the story.
I think it's so good, but my main problem is that characters didn't show their real feelings (just a bit), they were so cold when someone dies. Not afraid or nervous.
I didn't find any characters really memorable except Jake Gyllenhaal's character, I thought he was good as always.
The idea for horror story is cool, and the ending.. (SPOILER): my God, it's unexpectedly shocking and sad, but brilliant. It's easily the best part of the movie! I'm glad they didn't make a happy ending.
