What better way to revise for a Sumerian exam than to write out your set texts in cuneiform? It seems the end of a chopstick makes a pretty good stylus!
This is my copy of a Sumerian proverb that translates as something like "For one who has things to ask for more - it is detestable to the gods!" These circular or "lenticular" shaped tablets were used in the Old Babylonian period (c.2000-1600 BC) by student scribes to practice on, as they could fit neatly into your hand. Often they would have little doodles or mathematical problems on the back, but I think I'll leave the maths to someone else for now!

A Babylon visa criar cervejas de estilos clássicos, mundialmente famosos. O primeiro fruto é a Babylon German Lager, que homenageia a escola alemã e possui que uma coloração dourada vibrante, espuma cremosa e persistente. #PernambucoBomdeMesa#Babylon
