Why am I posting a cake that is a work in progress? A creation that went a little amuck? The reason is two fold..
First, those berries
Second, someone asked me today how I come up with my recipe? A lot of stuff goes into this process... first and foremost I eat, and eat and eat. That’s the fun part. I also study, I read recipes, watch cookings shows, there’s a lot of googling involved. I work... I practice, I spend hours in the kitchen every single day. And last and most importantly I FAIL, I have had more kitchen failures over my lifetime then successes probably. I try new things, they don’t work out and then I try again. When people say to me “I can’t cook” I always want them to rephrase it and say “I don’t care to cook.” Because you all can do it... it’s all about the DOING... and then doing it again.
On a side note, my kids are the whole thing I didn’t fail too hard

Macarons: Red Velvet and Vanilla filled with Chocolate
Cupcakes: Chocolate Strawberry, Red Velvet, Double Vanilla, and Lemon Cupcakes
Jar: Layers of Chocolate Fudge Brownie with Nutella Buttercream and Drizzled with Chocolate Ganache Dessert Cups: 7oz each
Layers of Marble Cake and luscious vanilla Buttercream and Strawberries! Meringues: Variety of Vanilla and Chocolate meringue kisses
NOTE: the colour theme of the desserts will be mostly red, pink, and white.
