Solid leg day today, definitely gonna feel it tomorrow.
Took a week off from deadlifts cause I wasn’t happy with my movements from my previous lift and I think I made the right decision. Felt pretty smooth today, took me a lot of concentration, but that’s fine by me.
Give this one a try and tell me how you feel!

#ChristmasSpiritYogis Day 7 Christmas Angel/Fallen angel or fallen side crow
Fallen Angel was one of my favorite poses when I first started yoga. It reminded of breakdancing. Although, I am not a street dancer, I feel like one whenever I get into this pose. Such a contrast to street dancing but it is in the same family of movement. After all, we are all movers. Categories should not matter! .

The Gluteus Maximus is THE LARGEST muscle group in your body. When you do a deadlift or any exercise MEANT FOR the posterior chain (glutes, hamstrings, calves) but you end up using the ANTERIOR chain (quads), your boys becomes imbalanced, you become “quad dominant” - this can result in back pain (as you get older) and the inability to lift heavy and get the gains you want (if you dont use your butt, you wont be able to lift heavy and if you dont lift heavy, you dont get gainzzz).. comment below if you ever feel back pain when lifting heavy..
