If you are willing to do the work, you can do anything I have always been that "skinny" girl with no curves (nothing wrong with that) But for about 2 years ago, I was so afraid of food & had some eating disorders. Bodybuilding actually saved me from that, because I realized that you need TO EAT a lot, and your body need that energy to be strong & powerful So thank you weights for making me strong, healthy & confident in my own body again! IF I CAN, you can!
I got to do an awesome gun course on Saturday!! It was freezing and snowing, and my walther and I had some trouble in the beginning, but we are tough and it was fantastic! It had been 3 years (my first baby) since I had practiced with my gun, and I left feeling 100% confident and comfortable using my pistol! I woke up the next morning and wanted to go again already!! Thanks so much to everyone that taught and helped me out!! You guys are amazing!!! @youtactical_nation
Let me be totally real here for a minute:
It doesn't matter HOW many times I post progress pics, it NEVER gets any easier.
Putting yourself out there for ALL the world to see isn't easy. Letting everyone see your struggles and your flaws is BEYOND humbling. You have those people who Body shame you and feel obligated to tell you EXACTLY what comes to mind which only adds to your insecurities.
So why in the hell do I continue to do it?
Because I know that somewhere out there, there's a mom who's had enough. She's had enough of feeling sick and tired. She's had enough of ALL her excuses and of putting everyone else in front of herself. She's had enough of feeling miserable when she looks in the mirror. She's had enough of covering up at the pool or not going in the water with her kids Bc she doesn't want to show her body. She's had enough of starting and stopping, only to start and then stop yet again. She's had enough of seeing others succeed while she stays the same. She's had enough of saying "maybe tomorrow I'll start" and repeating that phrase day in and day out.
How do I know she's out there?
Because she was ME.
I've been in that place where you're just embarrassed to get undressed in front of your husband. Been in that place where you know you have it in you but you don't know where or how to start. Been in that place where you're tired of giving up on yourself and for ONCE, want to see what success looks like on YOU.
I was HER and it was pictures like THESE that got me up off MY ass and made me put ME at the top of my list for once.
I'm only 57 days in on this 80 day journey and I have to say....this is the BEST and the STRONGEST I've ever felt. The lessons I've learned about nutrition and how to fuel my body are priceless and I'm looking for that mom on the other end of the screen who is ready to learn these tricks too.

Sitting at a pretty solid pre-cut weight of 215, not too much to cut but I'm thinking ten pounds in the next few weeks should be just fine for summer time! Not where I wanted in terms of solid muscle mass gained in the past year, but shit I'll take any progress I can get!
