This awesome outdoor lounge, with exposed bricks and bare concrete. A stylish juxtaposed to the old home. To the left is the swimming pool. The swimming pool runs along the the length of the house. The Edison George Town is a boutique hotel converted from an old rich trader mansion. Penang was once one of the most important trading ports of the British empire, bigger and more important than Singapore. It was filled to the brim with rich Chinese and Malay traders. Their wealth were spectacularly large, resulting in large mansions like this one or the famous blue mansion. This property has been well renovated but in contrast to most other projects, the renovation is surprisingly modern. The building is well kept but most of the interiors are modern, which I find a refreshing contrast. #hoteladdict#luxuryhotel#roomwithaview#beautifulhotels#adventuretime#boutiquehotels#letsgosomewhere#luxurytravel#roadtrippin#luxuryworldtraveler
