Note to hairdressers: Who is having a hard time cutting a smooth blunt straight cut??? Tips: 1. Section the Hair in the back when cutting. Depending on the thickness of hair I’ll section more. If the hair is fine I can get away with just cutting without sectioning off. 2. Have them sit straight, uncross there legs; this is important for a blunt cut!
3. Always, Always have them put there head down just a little, when cutting the back. This helps put a little tension so there head stays in one spot. It also helps give the bottom a little curve so the top hair covers the bottom and it makes it look sooo nice and smooth!
4. Do not use tension when pulling the hair down to cut.
5. When you get to the sides have them put there head in a normal face forward position. If you leave the head down the sides can possibly end up being shorter than the back. (If your wanting it longer on the sides)
I hope this helps some of you. #hairdressing#haircuttingeducation#bluntcut#cuttingeducation#hairrevolutiontx#straightcuthair#modernsalon#btc#hairdressingadvice
