Instead of thinking of this as a pull off the ground, pushing the ground away helps you use the lower body, the REAL powerhouse of this movement.

3️⃣ Crack the walnut

At the top of this lift engage the glutes by "cracking the walnut" πŸ‘. This will give you a proper lockout without hyperextending your back.

That bar is slippery as hell, but that means I need to brace the bar even tighter. Bench is definitely feel a lot better despite having trouble with the liftoff.
