Just finished running a school dance for 110 children at Alexandria Park Community School. The stage 1 children had received 50 medley's each this term so their reward was a disco dance at end of term with The Jess Academy.
Can't wait to teach dance in term 3 at this amazing school!
The overhead press is the king when its comes to development of the shoulder complex. However within the general population it's quite common for an individual to have some form of shoulder condition that can inhibit them from performing the movement in a safe and effective manner. Instead of eliminating overhead pressing, the half-kneeling land mine press may be a viable alternate as it is more shoulder friendly due to the arc motion of the press placing less stress on the shoulder structure. You can apply this methodology to many exercises as there are many variations of movement patterns that can be slightly altered to be more suitable to your needs.
