So I just realised I have totally neglected tags so I'm going to talk about #5bookishthingsiamthankfulfor Thank you @forests_and_fairytales When you find that character who is exactly like you and whom you can relate with. Books as knowledge. Fiction or non fiction, you can enhance the mind When you and your friend fan girl over the same book! Or butt heads lol either way is a good time When you see a book you loved when you were young, and the thought of that book alone brings pleasant memories. Transporting yourself to another world through a book, sometimes you need that escape from time to time.
Good morning peeps I don't have to tell you every morning that I'm super tired, do I?
Really need to take some pictures over the weekend because, besides pictures for Mangareviews..I don't have enough pictures to post rn so I have to show you the last Wizarding World Lootcrate that I got. And this one was REALLY amazing. It's by far the best Harry Potter Box (imo!) filled with amazing goodies. Everything in this box was exclusive and the box again has an amazing design itself so i can't throw it away My favourite item was the keybox/frame-thing you can put other pictures Inside but i will keep this picture in it because it moves by opening the box you can hang for example keys Inside.
I am super happy with the whole content .
Wish you all a lovely day! And I'd like to say hello and welcome again to all the new followers
This came in the mail not too long ago! Bookmail is always so exciting!

Synopsis from Goodreads
Kira's Twelve Steps To A Normal Life
1. Accept Grams is gone.
2. Learn to forgive Dad.
3. Steal back ex-boyfriend from best friend...
And somewhere between 1 and 12, realize that when your parent's an alcoholic, there's no such thing as "normal."
When Kira's father enters rehab, she's forced to leave everything behind--her home, her best friends, her boyfriend...everything she loves. Now her father's sober (again) and Kira is returning home, determined to get her life back to normal...exactly as it was before she was sent away.
But is that what Kira really wants?
As Bright As Heaven by Susan Meissner. . Review: This book was positively heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. About the Bright family, it starts during WWI and the outbreak of the Spanish Flu in 1918. The second part is set in 1925 and shows the aftermath of what happened as a result of the war and the pandemic.
This book seemed particularly topical considering the flu pandemic we are in currently. I was curious about the 1918 pandemic and this book shows how far-reaching it was and how it utterly destroyed lives.
I like how this book focused each chapter on a member of the Bright family. You get the entire plot from the point of view of the main characters and what their worldview is at the time. Each voice was a clear, well-developed character.
