"Partnerships can be built, but love can't be coaxed. Love should feel like the first time you gallop a horse flat out. It should make your blood sing. It should terrify you. And some part of you should recognize it the first time you meet the other person's eyes."
-Audrey Coulthurst, Of Fire and Stars

Happy Book Birthday to @lbardugo with the newest #grishaverse novel out in the world #TheLanguageofThorns which is a fairytale anthology from the world that her characters would know as children and is also beautifully illustrated! ALSO DID YOU HEAR THAT NIKOLAI IS GETTING HIS OWN DUOLOGY?!? #KingofScars
I did it. I finally cheated. I picked up the book and read a couple of paged ... omg I want to plow into it now! Why do I have to be so anal about reading books in the order they are received . That's okay, it won't be long.
So last night I watched some television. I know, what's wrong with me? I watched the premiere of The Good Doctor. It's about a young autistic surgeon who has savant syndrome. The hospital board members weren't too thrilled with his hire although he has impeccable credentials. How would you feel having a surgeon with autism operate on you? Does having autism make him less qualified ? Just food for thought.
