Hey Insiders, it's a beautiful day in Connecticut. The sun is shining exposing all the beautiful colors outside. If felt it was appropriate to shout out the graphic designers that make our logo and book covers pop! Shout our your favorite graphic designer. #insidersbookclub
Slow and steady reads are perfect for mornings like this! Book two of #24in48 underway... "Beloved" by Toni Morrison. This woman is a genius queen. •
My first package of @bookbiff's arrived yesterday! I'm so excited to use them this week :)
"Never had she danced so beautifully; the sharp knives cut her feet, but she did not feel it, for the pain in her heart was far greater." Hans Christian Anderson, The Little Mermaid
It's cloudy, gloomy, but it's such a beautiful day to be a woman today and everyday! #womensmarch

3. Playing volleyball (I don't do this often anymore because of work ) 4. Cookie scented candles while reading
5. Buying books and bookish stuff.
6. Bookish photo shoots with my bestie.
7. Seeing my family after a long flight.

10. Cold mornings in bed
I'm going to let you in on a little secret....
You know why or how kings, princes, royalty, Pharoahs, etc ruled over the people?
Control of KNOWLEDGE
Books were banned, knowledge only given to those selected, education only given to those who could afford it.
What has changed? We all get it but what about the quality of the education? Do certain people have better access to higher knowledge?
I personally was never taught how to THINK or learn or retain or apply that information in ways my brain would actually "get it". I would memorize for the test that I would barely pass and never think on it again.
Last year at this time, I watched probably 30 hours of teLIEvision a week, could not pay attention to books or focus, was 50lbs over weight, depressed and miserable. Why? ?
We are these powerful beings not stimulating our incredible minds!
When I started to question how certain things were being explained about the middle east wars, I started to explore, started to ask the right questions (so to say)...and that is what led down this rabbit hole of fuckery.
I taught myself for the first time, how to reference things, take notes, look this person up or this event. I started keeping journals and then eventually started this page. I was uncovering SO much information, I felt it was my job to help people understand who we really are, what we deserve, and how we can get it.
We can get it.
We have to want to be smart. It can be on whatever you feel passionate about. Find it and learn the shit of it and share!
I am so excited to connect with people exploring other paths and fields than me.
This is my current reading collection. I am exploring the development of consciousness through the bible and studying books on Atlantis as clues as what a high advanced brain civilization could look like. Serpent in the Sky and The Day the Sky fell are hopefully arriving this week!
I took today's prompt of royal books quite literally and had to feature one of my favorite series, The Royals. Paper Princess hooked me from the start and I was so upset that I had to wait for books two and three to come out. Lucky for you, if you decide to start them now, all three books are published and a spin off series is in the works.
If you love enemies to lovers stories, this one is for you!
