XIN CHAO part two.
Back home the neighbours got a staffy too, a little nugget called Peanut and Xin Chao liked to jump the fence and visit with her. The neighbours loved this and would include her in their household activities, which comprised of their dogs, cat and Xin Chao sitting in a row waiting for treats!!
One day Peanut worked out how to come into our yard, and she went crazy and killed one of our chickens. Xin Chao did not like that and considered it was only okay for her to visit Peanut, but if Peanut even thought about coming for a visit she was sternly told off.
Xin Chao was embarrassing to take to the beach, as soon as we tired of throwing her ball, she would race away and hassle someone else to throw it!! Usually they would oblige her…..
When she was 7 She developed a small lump on her shoulder which we thought was from jumping over the wooden fence to visit Peanut. When we got it checked out by the holistic vet, she thought it might be cancer!! •
We were horrified, especially as we hadn’t reacted to the lump when we first noticed it. We decided not to go down the chemo therapy road, but instead to try alternative methods and diet.
This helped tremendously and Xin Chao was so close to beating the lumps that now appeared all over her body. •
I’ve managed to put a video of Xin Chao as a link in the profile playing with her humans.
