Hiking through The Narrows at Zion, the water was refreshing but it wasn't the easiest task maneuvering against the river's current while trying to avoid tripping over rocks that lay hidden below the water. It was however a nice change of pace from the heat and a lot of fun. This is actually the most frequently hiked trail in Zion and one of the best slot canyon hikes in the world proper footwear is a must and a walking stick can be very helpful in keeping your balance and feeling around for what's ahead. Some parts of the trail were so deep it went up to people's mid chest (you could usually find a more shallow part to pass). Make sure to check potential for flash flooding before hitting this trail!

Westvleteren XII was a real treat last night all the way from Belgium Pours a dark brown with some amber as the sunset hits it with a thin tan head that lingers along with the yeast particles dancing in the glass. The nose was beautiful from the beginning with a ton of Sweet candied fruit, toffee, mild alcohol and a general richness. Flavour was outstanding with some nuttiness, raisin, hint of coconut and caramel and a yeasty aroma and taste It lingered kindly in my mouth as I chose not to rush to each sip and enjoy.
As a quantity at 10% abv it drinks smoothly in though sweet it is balanced by being met with a touch of complementing bitterness. #beersaint#westvleteren#trappistbeer#beautifulbeer#drinkgoodbeer
