Scroll Through Pictures!!! Today was an amazing day. I woke up at 2:45am to be at the hospital by 5:30am. I had to be there early because I had #kidney#surgery#8. This surgery was to change my right ureteral stent & possibly put a stent in my left ureter (that is what we talked about at the appointment I had last week with my urology oncologist. He said we would just have to get in there to see if it was possible). The reason I had to get the nephrostomy tube in my back in June was because the tumor was wrapped around the left ureter & crushing the tube so urine was backing up into the kidney. This caused my kidney to become enlarged, my left leg to swell, me to gain 20 pounds in just a few weeks & my creatinine to skyrocket to 4.55 (normal is 1.0 or less) Well during the surgery today everything went great & now if you look at the last picture, after 6 month, I am free of the #Nephrostomy Tube. Yay!!!
from @joannasather - First of all I suck at selfies! But my hairs growing back and I wanted to show it off. I thought I was keeping the decent amount of brows and lashes I had but they keep falling out six weeks post chemo. I've completed nine of my 28 radiations and it's going pretty good. I am starting to have what looks like a little bit of a sunburn on my chest and underneath my arm and a little on my back. They recommend I don't wear a bra....that'd be fine if my job wasn't TEACHING GROUP FITNESS well whatever... it's not forever and I've got so much to grateful for and so much to look forward to. Oh and I'm starting tamoxifen tomorrow. Anybody out there having fun with that? .

It’s also antibacterial so useful for sore throats and tonsillitis.
Lemon in warm water can kick start your digestion if taken first thing in the morning but for some it can cause reflux.
The peels of lemons do have high oxolates. It’s an excellent fruit for SIBO. Lemon juice can be useful for kidney stones. It can impact your teeth enamel over time. My dentist suggests using a straw to drink it.
It is also a natural bleaching agent and the scent of lemon can repel mosquitos.
Is lemon a fruit you use regularly?
