#fbf This is one of my favorite pictures of Leila. Note that we are on the soccer field ALLEGEDLY watching her sisters play. Note that her BACK is to the field. Note that she has her legs crossed, with #churchgirl socks on with some sneakers. Note that she’s giving solid #sideeye to her other sister probably because she questioned the baby doll stroller, back pack or any number of items that Leila traveled with that day. But most importantly note my baby being % herself. This is Leila. She loves herself. Be like Leila. #momlife#thisgirl#momboss#thinkhigher
#Prayer is sooooo important, y'all.
We all need prayer: for wisdom, peace, illness, certain circumstances... So I ask you to lift some things up in prayer for me - Family members who are dealing with illness
- Josh & Charity Birkey (mutual friends on FB) lost a 2-year old suddenly yesterday. - I've had some discomfort in my abdomen recently, and would love some prayers.
Feel free to share your prayer requests with me, either here or in a message. Thanks, friends!
As women we must never put ourselves in these situations. Even in relationships and marriages there’s nothing wrong with the husband being the breadwinner/provider (if that’s what you two choose) but there’s everything wrong with him belittling you or boasting about his responsibility as a provider. There’s something off with a noble man’s character if he feels the need to tell you (and make you feel bad for) how much money spent on your ring. Signs will always be there just pay attention and don’t put yourself in the situation.
“God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen.”
1 Peter 4:10-11 NLT
