Apologies for being MIA last week guys.
I've been working SO hard. My colleague is current off in lovely Florida. So for the last two weeks and one more week I am running a motor trade service department single handedly!
Trust me, with a new training manager being absent that is HARD!
However, I've missed sharing with you guys and I felt I NEED to update you.
I've just had a gorgeous shower, all sudded up in my @dove moisturising body wash and my hair has had its luscious love with @tresemme Keratin Smooth shampoo and conditioner.
from #Gangnam#Seoul, #Korea! I'm in the second half of my korea/Japan trip, and wanted to do a quick post on part of my #skincare#nighttimeroutine .
. #theordinary#hyaluronicacid#serum after #cleansing and #toning. Hyaluronic acid is one of my favorite #skincareingredients because many aspects of our daily environment ends up dehydrating and depleting our skin cells of water, which is necessary for healthy oil/water balance in the skin. Things like ac, wind, sun, all contribute to water loss, but most importantly at night, we experience TEWL (transepidermal water loss), which basically means we lose a lot more water in our skin at night naturally when sleeping. This ingredients holds x1000 its water weight and the one I'm trying from #theordinary is going pretty well for now and is moderately priced.
. #tatcha pore perfecting water gel #moisturizer. I really love this one because I have #combinationskin (oily and normal)/acne prone/hormonally #sensitiveskin (esp in the jaw line) and needed something #moisturizing and #noncomedogenic to prevent flair ups. This one has been working well so far. It had a smooth light gel consistency with #goldflakes in it. Plus, the packaging is .
. #embryolisse#lait-creme concentre. I haven't used this as much on this trip bc it's been very hot and humid in Japan and Korea, but I used this on top of the #tatcha#moisturizer a few nights to seal in the different layers. I also use this as a #primer under liquid foundation sometimes for a more #dewy look.
. #bioderma#sensibio#eyegel . I've been trying to be less lazy about putting on #eyecream (I know it's something I should do twice a day but I get too tired sometimes lol) but I noticed that with my reactive skin, I break out with small milia around my eye/cheekbones if the eye cream or makeup/highlighter might be comedogenic. I like this one because it's light weight, #hydrating, and doesn't cause break outs.
. #biooil for #bodycare because, #stretchmarks lol. I like this one because it's not super gooey and it's faster to rub in all over than normal body lotions and I get super impatient to sleep after night time shower lol.
I've never given so much thought to the possibility of face washes not being able to wash off the oiliness and dirt, like they're supposed to! I'm hesitant about cream cleansers, especially since I've got quite a tested skin care regime in place already. However, there are days when I do apply my kohl more dramatically, and I remember I own highlighters and eye shadow palettes; which prompts me to use them rather excitedly. There are also some days when I've been out in heavily pollution/humidity infested areas. On such days, I wipe my face clean using this turmeric extract cleanser by Dr. Blossom Kochhar @aromamagicindia@earth_to_bottle . Besides turmeric, it has vegetable glycerine, and extracts of the Damask Rose, which collectively improve radiance and soothe skin. Complementary essential oils of lavender, geranium, and ylang-ylang provide the necessary anti-microbial action to prevent scope for future acne break-outs. I've found that my facial skin looks wonderfully smooth and clear when I wake up in the morning, after a nightly application. This doesn't interfere with my established regime because I don't use it so often. But, if I had to depend on a make-up, and general clean-up option, I'd turn to this cleansing 'cream' that's full of my favourite natural ingredients and essential oils. Absolutely no itching, burning or rosacea-ish blotchiness to report, which are possible developments I face when trying such products. There are days when my oily skin dries up faster after washing, and flakes with weather fluctuations. Now, I've something in my emergency beauty armoury for it! #thinkingtotty#newdelhi#delhi#southdelhi#hkv#hauzkhasvillage#blossomkochharspalon#blossomkochhar#earthtobottle#aromamagic#facial#cleanser#combinationskin#skincare#regimes#rituals#natural#botanical#essentialoils#productreviews#turmeric#damaskrose#rosedamascena#ylangylang#lavender#geranium#glycerine
This primer and setting spray is BOMB I have combination skin. Dry & oily. So I need a really good base and finish so I don't end up shining .
I brought this on a complete whim because my MAC prep and prime finishing spray had run out. .
This product is lightweight and dries reply quickly. It has a delicate smell, almost fruity like melon I've been spraying after I've cleansed and moisturised and then lightly after applying makeup. I work in the hospitality industry so I run around organising a restuarant and kitchen all day & my foundation is staying put!!! .
Good morning beauties!! Just wanted to share with you some of my favorite skin care products. I've given up on seeing a dermatologist routinely and have started treating my own skin with natural products, like essential oils and African black soap.
Beauties, it is #sheetmasksaturday and today's letter was a real tough one I seriously went through my whole collection of masks to find it! I literally used a magnifying glass to help me see the tiny ingredient lists on each mask Anyhow, the letter is "X" .....my ingredient is XYLITOL- xylitylglucoside
⚬LABIOTTE FrenIQ Turn Over Soothing First Mask
This mask contains alcohol, castor oil, glycyrrhiza glabra (licorice) root extract, zingiber officinale (ginger) root extract, schizandra chinensis fruit extract, coptis japonica root extract, camellia sinensis leaf extract, and XYLITOL. XYLITOL- xylitylglucoside is a sugar alcohol that is used as a sugar substitute for flavoring. It is said that to aid in retaining natural moisture in the skin, assist in collagen production, boost level of hyaluronic acid, increase ceramide production, and improve skin's barrier. Xylitol can be found in its natural form in corn husks, mushrooms, berries, and oats.
The mask claims to soothe, skin turn over AHA, moisturize, boosting effect on skin, and has a cooling effect. When I opened the packaging I was immediately greeted by the scent of the mask. It is very floral and sort of perfumy which I immediately knew the mask had alcohol. The scent isn't too overpowering but if you are sensitive to alcohol or strong scents it might not be right for you. The mask it self has a plastic protective slip to keep the form of the mask and to aid in application. It is a soft thin mask compared to regular sheet masks. And even though the mask is thin it is completely drenched in a gel like essence. The essence is clear and a bit thick (like hair gel) but sort of watery to the touch. It sort of melts onto your skin becoming watery and runny. The thinness of the mask allows for a pretty good fit. It can easily stretch without tearing and fit every part of your face. I wore the mask for about 50 minutes...almost an hour! The reason being that the mask was jammed packed with "gel" essence taking a bit longer to dry and absorb. My results? I honestly did not see any reduction of redness in my skin nor did I feel the cooling effect. •
