In this 9 part series, I'll show you my morning routine to move nearly every joint through their full range. By doing so it helps keep my joints healthy and preps my body for the day. Try it out for 1 week and begin to see what your movement potential can be.
I like to start out at the foot and ankle and work my up.
Movement 2: straight leg raise. Working on those hamstrings. Big thing here is to also engage the core to keep the low back glued to the floor. Don't let it arch up as the leg comes down.
What's the prescription? 5-10x each side depending on the time you have. I typically get in 10 for the lower extremity and 5 for the spine and upper extremity making the routine about 10min.

Whoopie😀 well aren't I glad I just got my Sunday workout done 🙌🙏 So happy I had the energy today, although my body was tired , those iron tablets are horrible, totally messing up my body already 😄 The taste of them and they make me feel like I'm full and going to be sick but I don't be sick 😕It's a shock to the system right now 😮😑 The only good thing about them is that I have been wanting water all day 😄 oh andy throat feels all funny too 👎 Oh well onwards and upwards 👊 I will not let it get me down , boo hoo I am anaemic, Life goes on, I need to stay active and still exercise lol, I have one life, I am going to live it and be the best healthy version of myself 👊 I am my own motivation 👊

Before you take part in any form of exercise it is essential to stretch. Ideally include active stretches before you exercise/during your warm up (stretches which include movement-leg swings, arm and shoulder rotations and swings etc). And post exercise more static stretches as shown above.
Stretching helps to improve flexibility, reduces risk of injury and warms up/cools down the muscles, joints and body.
