Don't compromise on the quality of food that goes into your body.
One of my favorite quotes by tony robbins is:
"Any time you sincerely want to make a change, the first thing you must do is to raise your standards." Over the years, the more I got into nutrition and health, the more I learned how empty of nutrients our diet is today.
I realized that I want to get the most out of my food in the most efficient way. For me processed foods or cooked food is compromising on my health and the quality of food I can provide for my body. If the food loses its nutrients, it is no longer the best option I can give my body.
Every time I found myself craving foods I know I shouldn't eat or that I know will not be the best choice for me, I stopped and asked myself: "Sivan, is this food going to serve your body in the best possible way?"
Whenever the answer was no, I put the item back on the shelf and went to get the option I knew was better.

If you find yourself dealing with craving, stop and start asking questions. "How am I going to feel after eating this food?"
"How is this food going to affect my body?" "Does this food match the standards of the person I am becoming / want to become?"
