Went to our favorite dog park today, saw hundreds of eagles and Hawks flying around and feeding. At the end of our walk I put the dogs in the truck and was about to leave when I noticed this black dog just standing there alone. It started to chase a pick up as it left the park and went down the road, I panicked thinking he forgot one of his dogs and then a semi flew down the road behind the pickup. My heart dropped, I was SCREAMING for the dog to come, I felt like I was going to throw up. After what felt like an eternity the dog comes around the bush off the road and comes to me. We walk down the drive way back into the park hoping to find his owner. This is a 40 acre dog park so it took a little but we stayed on the main path that leads to the parking so they'd have to walk by us and we found her. I told her what had happened as she leashed the dog. Her jaw dropped and she thanked me. I'm not sure how the dog managed to get so far away from the owner but I'm glad I was there to grab it.
We see these deer all the time on the trail. Their leader is a buck with only 1 horn. Zoe and I have seen them so much that I have named them all. From left to right...Goofy, Lady, Daffy, Leo, Frodo, Dobbie, Khaleesi, Dalila, Wendy, and my favorite Jasmine. #myrolldog
Staffy-Pitty mix CONNIE has been @sparcsaveslives for 2 years too long! She is one of the most playful dogs at SPARC. The floor beneath her feet turns into a trampoline, as she can spring 5 feet straight up into the air! She can often be seen chilling out in sunglasses and a t-shirt this also helps to calm her skin, which is sensitive. Connie is six years old, 45 lbs and while she has had boyfriends in the past, she is very picky about the other dogs who come around to check her out! Can you be Connie’s forever human(s) and home?! She will make you feel like an A list celebrity every time she sees you! #socal
