This is more fun than sticking my head out on car rides. Goggles and floatation vest checked! Overheard my mom told my dad to save me first IF ever we fall down. Uhm, should I feel safe or worried?? Plus, I already took a bath twice this day. Swimming is nice but I don't want more bath time pleaaath. #dogadventure#dogtravel#outdoors#adrenalinejunkie#watersportdog
I can not believe my favorite girl is still at BACC. On May 30, she will have finished her TENTH month at the shelter. She's spent Labor Day, Columbus day, Halloween, Veteren's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, Easter, and now Memorial day in a kennel. By far, a record for any dog I have met in the nearly 6 years of volunteering there. Cora is sweet, loving, playful, althetic and SO SO smart. Her behavior has been nothing but consistent over these ten long months, which is a testament to her stellar personality.
On the one hand, I want her to find a home so badly. On the other, it terrifies me to think she may just not be there one day and I won't have any clue where she is or how she's doing. SHe deserves only the most amazing home. She has lived with cats, but may chase them outside. She would likely be best as the only dog in the home. She's not reactive toward them outside, but doesn't really want to socialize with them either. She's extremely housetrained, even in the kennel environment. She's active and loves to play fetch, but loves chillin on your lap just as much.
This is her tonight after our usual routine (potty, play fetch, new toy, treats, lap time, treats, more fetch). CORA A1083465 Brooklyn ACC.
