Huge thank you to all of my clients for donating to the Atlanta Food Bank. This is our 8th year giving to this worthy organization. TFC is committed to making s difference in our community.
Special thank you to @1newtondiva for going above and beyond and making all these baskets.
Usually the Atlanta Food Bank picks up the containers and then they tell me who in our community received our generous donations. However this year the recipient came to pick them up. I was more excited then they were.
No but really Michelle Keeling along with three young men from the Alyssa and Brothers Inc., better known as The Rowley Residence Boys Group Home was overjoyed and so appreciative. Michelle couldn’t believe we collected so many wonderful items from food to toiletries. ‘Tis the season to give don’t forget about our neighbors in need. #nomess#taddasfitness#give#atlantafoodbank#donate#grouphome#boyshome
Today on the fifth anniversary of his mother’s passing, Donald Shauger was honored to spend time giving back to others in need—something his mother, Laura, did all of the days of her life.
As part of the coat drive The Shauger Group is currently hosting, Donald bought coats today to help children at two East Orange schools: Langston Hughes Elementary School and Gordon Parks Academy.
It was heartwarming for Donald to spend time today giving back to those in need. It was a fitting tribute to Laura, who was an incredibly charitable person and who went to great lengths to help others—both her own loved ones and complete strangers.
If anyone else would like to donate children’s coats to our coat drive to help East Orange children in need, you can drop the coats off at The Shauger Group's headquarters at 429 Dodd Street, East Orange, NJ 07017.
For more information, please call The Shauger Group at 973-676-2100.
This Christmas season, you can help Vine Maple Place meet a critical need for single parents facing homelessness by providing gift cards for gas stations. These gift cards are a lifeline for families to buy gas throughout the year in order to get to job interviews, work, medical appointments, childcare, & school.
Buy gift cards from Fred Meyer, Chevron, or Shell for $10 or $20. You can drop them in the offering buckets here on Sunday mornings before 12/31, or stop by the church office during the week during regular office hours. #tistheseason
