Help! For pets' sake, we need a new laptop!
99% of the time we are asking for help directly related to the pets we have or will rescue, but unfortunately, there are other costs in rescue. One of the big ones is insurance (if you chose to be responsible), another is technology. We need to use bookkeeping software, like Quickbooks, Acrobat software for adoption/ foster PDF forms, Photoshop for images etc...and a computer to run these programs on. Most of our work can be done on my personal Mac, but not Quickbooks for Nonprofits. It only comes in a PC version and my dinosaur laptop is 10+ yrs old and our "money guru" can't handle the snail pace of the dinosaur (neither can I! It's soooooo slow!). We can get a heck of a deal (~$300) on this little Dell if we can get the funds before the end of the month. Can you spare $20 (+/-) to help us get into this decade, technology wise? Or, if you have a laptop with these specs or better you want to donate, that would be awesome too!!! Donation link in our profile. Please note: "laptop" with your donation. Thank you! #donatenow#rescuealaptop#recycleyourlaptop#techsavvydog#donatelaptops
Two years ago - on march 24, 2015 - the terrible Germanwings crash at the French Alps took place. Among the 149 victims was the artist Juliane Noack who was only 30 when she passed away. We have lost not only a talented artist we also mourn the loss of a daughter, partner in life, mother-to-be and friend. A young woman who brought to life so many ideas and collaboration with other artists by saying "los wir machen das jetzt" (Come on, let’s do it now). .
She was a founding member of nonprofit "hr.fleischer e.V." Art- and Project Room at Reileck in Halle, Germany. An graduate of the Jewellery Class of Prof. Daniel Kruger at Burg Giebichenstein, University of Art and Design Halle.
These were the days of mourning and retrospect. A week of rememberance to the wonderful times we all had with Jule. .
And now we will stand up again and TURNING SOMETHING SENSELESS INTO SOMETHING MEANINGFUL, to help more artists in their first years with support, grants and encouragement. Please help us to do this work with your donation (have a look to our profil link with all information).
We want to say thank you for the great support to all of you over the last two years. Without you it would'nt have been possible to establish the Juliane Noack Association and to support first artists in Halle and Munich! .
This Portrait from Juliane Noack was taken in her study time by Matthias Ritzmann. The object and chair "In design I lost my heart" came into existence at a material design workshop at Burg Giebichenstein. .
