Next post features the delicious pastries and confectionaries of Paris!
First stop was Angelina Paris, home of the world’s best hot chocolate! Thick, creamy, and deliciously sweet. It paired perfectly with the pain au chocolat and croissants for breakfast. Dozens of other pastries were offered but one can only eat so much!
Next stop was the famous Pierre Hermé. Considered the “2nd best” macaron in Paris, it was at the top of my list - and far surpassed the macaron of “#1 Ladurée”, at half the price! Had the pleasure of the White Truffle, Ispahan (rose & lychee), and Mogador (passion fruit and chocolate) macarons. Some of the most unique and well-paired flavors I’ve ever had!
