I find myself sitting in tears tonight.
I read a story of a mum killed during the attack on Manchester and my heart just broke. Her daughter was pictured outside, with police, covered in a much too big coat. She looked so small and was looking for her mum.
The last post on this woman's Facebook page was of her daughter and friend in a restaurant beside the arena, excited for the evening.
I'm so reminded that in a moment everything can change.
Everything we are worrying about is so insignificant.
My mum took me to my first concert at 4 years old. I can't even comprehend what this child and so many others are going through.
I apologise for the thoughts spilling onto this post, I haven't made sense of it in my own head yet.
For now I will hold my child a little tighter, and hope the world will change for him
