As we pump CO2 and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere the faster we head into the 6th Mass Extinction. With temperature rise, animals are forced to migrate north as their habitat becomes unsuitable for their needs. If a six mass extinction were to occurs, we could lose up to 75% of earth species. Plants can only migrate 1/10th to the speed that climate change is happening. By the end of the century, the Arctic and it's valuable life will die off as temperature rise melts the ice in the summer and for a short period in winter their will be little ice left. Not only are many species at risk now due to climate change, But animals that were previously at risk and have since become extinct should have lasted 800 to 10000 more years. This would be the first extinction to all species causes by one species, would you like to go down like that? We need to start making drastic changes in order to save the planet and its valuable life from the toll of climate change.
Question: What have you done in the past year about climate change? -
What the heck is that?
It's a Konjac sponge, and our newest skincare product. Konjac sponges are made from the vitamin packed fibres of the konjac plant that are grown in the foothills of the mountains in Asia. It is a plant that has been used as a health food for centuries for its medicinal properties.
How do we use it at The Green Beauty Collective?
As an exfoliating sponge of course! Konjac sponges are so gentle and natural, making them ideal for those with sensitive skin, eczema, dermatitis or blemished-prone skin. Pump a teeny tiny bit of your cleanser onto a wet sponge to extend the life of your cleanser. The Konjac sponge helps foam up any gel, foam or milk cleanser and makes a little bit go a long way.
