#tbt to a #fairytale moment.
Once upon a time there was a princess, a prince and a pauper and they all sat happily ever after...
Can you identify them??
El tbt a un cuento de hada donde una princesa, un principe y la pobre se sentaron todos juntos felices. Lo puedes identificar?
Magical Yakushima part 1
It's hard to believe how much this faraway island feels like taken out from a fairy tale. A gorgeous cedar(yaku-sugi) forest full of little monkeys (yaku-saru) deers(yaku-shika). The eldest tree in whole Japan is here, dated to the prehistoric Jomon period. It takes four hours to get to the tree, but it's definitely worth it!
I'll soon upload a second post with horizontal photos and some crazy stories from our trip.
When your abused rescue puppy turns into a beautiful model.
I've wanted to do this with Meela for awhile. On our way to see her big brother at UT's Vet Hospital today, we stopped by the @hobbylobby in #knoxville. She got so many compliments and bystanders during her mini floral session.
When we rescued her three years ago she had been severely abused and neglected at just 10 weeks old. She was malnourished, losing her hair, had a fever, full of worms, and her head and ears had awful wounds. She had been abused by people, kept in a barn never getting to step outside, and being the runt of her litter, she was constantly picked on by her siblings. She ran backwards from me the first time I tried to pick her up.
Look at her now. She has come so very far. She still gets anxious and hesitant about certain places, sounds, and people. However she is growing into her sweet personality more and more every year. I can't wait to watch her life.
I'm so proud to call you mine Meela!
