I don’t have a photo for comparison (believe me, I scrolled deep into my camera roll, and still couldn’t find one which was right), but I had a couple of “yay” moments this week: I don’t know which part of what I’m doing has made the difference, but over the last few weeks, I’m looking leaner. I bought the t-shirt in wearing in pic 2 ages ago in a moment of madness; it’s always been far too clingy (less “hello boys” more “hello rolls”)...until this weekend. I almost want to say it looks loose now? (I’ve also included pic 2 because my mum’s reaction when I walked in wax “ooh your hair looks nice”, after I had it coloured last week) Pic 3 (I’m aware of the irony in the slogan on my top, stick with me) - I bought these jeans in early 2015, and they juuuuust about fit. “I’ll slim into them,” I told myself. Didn’t realise I’d first bulge out of them to the point that they wouldn’t go over my thighs. Admittedly, I still wouldn’t get a big dinner in them, and there’s still some muffin top, but they do fit, finally. They fit better than they did when I bought them. I’m not trying to be a certain size, and I don’t want to be tiny, I like being curvy. But, for me, there’s healthy and unhealthy when it comes to curves. The whole process has been a revelation to me - having never been into exercise, it’s a genuine surprise when something (other than stamina or strength) changes. If anyone wants me, I’ll be prancing around in my smallest jeans (which, by the way, have been promoted to a hanger at the front of my wardrobe, rather than being hidden away at the back) #celebration#selflove#gome#fitness#fitspo#instafit#transformationtuesday#transformation#fattofit#couchto10k#selfie#dropitlikeasquat#thisgirlisonfire#thisgirlcan
I had a cooking fiasco earlier this week, where I knocked a bunch of my ingredients that were draining in a colander to the floor. So I was left with just some Italian sausage that I had already browned. So today I pulled that sausage out of the fridge and made some personal sized mini pizzas that are going to be thrown into the freezer for those times when I have that pizza craving but want to control my servings. I used store bought naan because I have a ton of homework to get through today, but @budgetbytes has an amazing naan recipe that I absolutely love. If I had the time I would have used that recipe instead of store bought! You can put anything you want on ma'am pizzas...but I did my favorite:Italian sausage and onion.
$98 spent @aldiusa today and another $80 spent at Kroger. I've been approximately $250 a week shopping at Kroger. Ain't no mo! Don't get me wrong, I love me some Kroger, but ain't nobody got time for all that money going out the window. (only items not pictured are my husband's Coke, cows milk, and my almond milk). Today was a good day for some grocery shopping.
