I've been dying to try out Faux Locs for some time now, and I finally got the oppurtunity to do so... All I can say now is that I am absolutely obsessed with them. I got these done on May 22nd, 2017 and about 2 months later they are still holding up. (Tomorrow will make it 2 months to be exact)
For anyone out there wanting to try faux locs I would definitely say go for it. They are super convenient, a great protective style for summer and winter, and I also think they promote hair growth (crossing my fingers on that) A few pieces of advice I will tell anyone considering getting them is that it might feel stiff at first, but that is normal. Iy might take about 1-2 weeks if your anything like me before you can style it into any ponytails or such, because it needs time to loosen up. Another thing is the tension on the scalp might be much for some, but that depends on who does them, and how tight you get them. Mines were not too heavy, nor was there too much pulling, because I decided to go with a smaller size, so if you want to avoid extreme tension, keep in mind the size you choose to get them.. Anyways, Goodbye faux locs. I will be seeing you again very soon.
