As many of you know, I've had locks for almost my whole life. (17yrs) So it was really awkward for me to buy and install faux crochet braid locs. I really liked them because they were light, not heavy. I'm thinking about growing my locks again because having my "normal" hair out is soo much work! I didn't know it required this much effort, but it's all good. Any thoughts?
Imagine a year where you dedicate it to simply looking at your self with love. Love for your flaws and love for the perfect! You simply work on your self-esteem and becoming the best person you could be. That doesn't just mean the outside appearance but truly working on your inner self, living with intention, mindfulness forgiveness, empathy, eating well, respecting yourself internally more, choosing people to surround yourself with carefully, laughing and celebrating life and you. Imagine if you cleared your space, simply removing clutter from your mind and space. Imagine if you read a little bit more and applied that knowledge, because knowledge applied is more powerful than simply reading. Imagine if you worked out a little more, imagine all the unnesscary... now help someone else who may need it. Imagine if we spent the year learning about our history, each others differences and educating.
I guess we all have a wonderful year, the world would be a little bit safer, we would look at eachother with love, we might even accept eachothers differences more....maybe!!! Try it....it will be one of the best things you'll ever do -stans
