Today we go back to the hospital to see if the dodgy looking lymph node in Charlotte-Anns neck is still misbehaving. If it is then we need to find why it is, the fear unsaid while waiting these past weeks, is it cancer? Is she no longer in remission. It could just be a normal immune system response to a virus she was fighting at the time of the scan. Or it could be cancer. The appointment isn't till late in the afternoon, I'm teaching this morning. Not sure how well that's going to go! Really I'm quite worried sick at the moment.
This is part of the reality of living with Cowden syndrome or having a loved one with Cowden syndrome. The constant fear of cancer, each appointment making you sick to the stomach because the reality for most sufferers is one day it will be.
First time doing #assistedpullups this week. I want to be able to complete them without the assistance... By the end of the year (giving myself enough breathing room)
My second goal is #tricepdips this year but again I'm starting with #assistedtricepdips ones.

Our class structure consists of various form of exercises. We start with barre, followed by Interval training that allows you to squeeze maximum benefit out of minimal time by doing planks, then we continue with tantra ( meaning woven together), free flow which allows the dancer to have a connection with her/his own essence and to feel the music at her own rhythm, we finalize with animal flow and splits. We start aztec dance grounded and ready to receive the spirit and be in tune with our drum (huehuetl) loving the journey to our next adventure ♀️ Rehearsal #10 we are joining forces with two male dancers that are bringing a dance piece (The Jaguar and the eagle battle) thank you Eduardo and Eric @ericfloresfitness for being part of this project
Failure effects all of us - great and small however it’s how we see that failure and how we move on from it that defines us. Failure is not about not being good enough or strong enough but about being human. I have been in a struggle myself and I’m not happy that I have allowed it to effect me physically and mentally but stumbling or the failure to stay everyday means I have a new start. A start to regain my power, a start to try again, a start to move forward from what caused me to fail. Don’t give up, just get up, dust off and go again.
