Thank you to my @paradisocrossfit family for a fun #crossfitopen2017 and to @disosgirl & @disoparadiso for always bringing people together.
The past 2 years, I haven't really participated in the Open, as my focus went from Athlete to Health Coach, and to giving my body an intensity break, for the first time in probably 25 years.
This year was humbling, and I got to practice owning my transition from competitor to general fitness. Just like I tell my clients, I got to be smart about my workouts, listen to my body, and still participate.
Now it's time to bring it back. Not to competing... but also not to dying on a workout like today, because I've let myself go even lower than what I would consider my personal "general fitness" lol.
You see, I also have a pretty immovable "why" when it comes to "WHY I should stay in shape". Of course I also relate to many - it's because I want to feel strong and healthy and live a long vibrant life... but it's also because I have a heart condition that will always be better off if I am cardiovascularly fit. #bringinitback

I forgot to grab a yoga mat from the extra room at the gym and now I have some cuuuute bruises on the front of my hips haha hip thrusts are sooooooo effective, but painful if you don't have some padding srsly tho, lifting weights has turned me into suuuuch a dude ♀️
I'm SO SORRYYYYY for being all gone for almost 2 weeks since my last post Didn't intend to disappear or #sociallydie Life happened. Shortly - I got kicked out of my apartment, so I had to move all my stuff somewhere and as I had no roof basically, I bought some random last minute flight tickets and went to visit Germany and Italy until I can move to a new place Life's an adventure, isn't it?
However, I'M BACK NOW and I'm ready to burn all the holiday fat from pasta, ice cream, lots of wine, pizza..basically all the amazing stuff those countries offered me.
P.S. I jumped back to week 10, cause well..I'm definitely feeling more weak than 2 weeks ago when it comes to abs and arms (damn #commandos ) It's so easy to lose strength
