I’ve been making green smoothies at work for everyone lately. It’s the best afternoon pick me up and a great way to get in a lot of leafy greens. 💚
These are made with cucumber, kale, spinach, lemon, fresh ginger, turmeric, MCT oil, Barlean’s Omega Swirl fish oil, flax seeds and collagen.

Sunday Smoothie. I had a craving for my beets and greens smoothie today. The ingredients change every time but it always starts with beets and greens. Today I used frozen baby spinach and frozen steamed beets and I added maca, hemp hearts, walnuts, almond butter, chia seeds, unsweetened shredded coconut and oat milk. I love a morning that begins with a recipe experiment!! 😋

There was some natural frozen yogurt in the freezer and a man that loves snickers eagerly awaiting a smoothie....and so the snickers ice cream style protein smoothie was born 😉

Recipe ➡️ 🔸75ml frozen natural yogurt
🔸1 cup milk of choice
🔸1 scoop chocolate protein powder
🔸1 tbsp chia or flax seeds
🔸1-2 tbsp peanut butter
🔸1 tbsp cacao nibs (optional)
🔸Pinch of salt and a dash of vanilla. 🔸Optional - Feel free to throw in a mejool date to get a hint of caramel. In the second pic is one I made into a smoothie bowl with only a splash of milk instead of a cup, topped with cacao nibs, cinnamon and sea salt 🙌 **Not an everyday breakfast.....but a more balanced protein packed treat to enjoy every once in a while 👌

I haven’t had a smoothie in months. It’s crazy especially because that was all I ever posted before. This thing saved my life post @barrysbootcamp ab day. I’m feeling the muscles grow 😉. I used my new protein from @supplementrx today and I’m seriously in love. It’s organic and vegan. Two wins, plus it has hidden adaptogens like cordyceps and lions mane mushrooms. For this baby I blended 1/2 cup of frozen pre roasted sweet potato, 1/2 cup of frozen pre steamed cauliflower, 1 scoop of @supplementrx vanilla plant protein, 1/2 cup of homemade cashew milk, 1 tbsp of @woodstockfoods cashew butter, 2 tsp of @goldeturmeric turmeric latte mix (you could just use individual spices to taste,) 1 tsp of fresh ginger and water until desired consistency was reached. Topped with @bigtreefarmsbali cacao nibs and @beelocal bee pollen. I may have to get into the smoothie game again because... damn. The perfect way to start the day after some over indulging yesterday! I love Thanksgiving and all the treats that go along with it. The problem for me is after a meal of indulgence it leaves me feeling off balance the next day and craving foods I normally try to stay away from. I set myself up for success today by starting my day with this Holiday Spiced Green Smoothie. Here’s how I made it:
1 Cup of my homemade cashew milk creamer
1 Cup Of Water
1 serving vanilla protein powder
1 tablespoon walnut butter
Big handful of baby kale
1 Cup frozen riced cauliflower
1 tablespoon hemp hearts
1 tablespoon Sacha inchi powder
1 scoop of l-glutamine powder (this helps fight sugar cravings)
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
A few shakes of cardamom

It’s the superfood powder spirulina that’s gives this smoothie it’s beauty green colour. Plus other goodness like B12, iron and protein in just two tsps that you can’t even taste! .

There’s also some vanilla protein powder, maca powder, ground flaxseed, splash lime juice, frozen zucchini, ice cubes and almond milk! 😋😋 .
As for supplements, I usually take some vitamin D and iron as I don’t eat a whole lot of meat! I try and get the rest of my vitamins/minerals from whole foods, but sometimes you can’t get it all in sooo supplements it is. .

Luckily for him they usually look a nicer colour than this, but for me I've been doing some fruit free smoothies bowls, cramming in chia, spinach, avocado, cacao (making the rather unappealing colour you see before you 😉) sweetened up with some Vanilla protein powder! Suits me taste buds, and me nutritional wants 😋😋

I literally hate prepping my smoothies for the week on a Sunday. I put it off all day and often end up prepping just one every evening for the following day which I hate even more! Feels good to have it done so I can enjoy the rest of the day and not have it hanging over me. 👍
This weeks is 200g greens, 100g cauliflower, 100g roasted squash, 1 scoop #vega chocolate protein powder, 2T ground flaxseed, 2t cinnamon, 1/2t wheatgrass powder and water. They will all be topped with toasted coconut and cacao nibs. I always have the same for the whole week as it makes shopping and prepping so much easier. And they’re always fruit free! What veg do you put in your smoothies? I’m always keen to try new combos! 🥑🥒🍠🥗
