Does it make a whole lot of sense to cover an entire bench with bolts of amazing fabric? No, but would we encourage you do so anyway? Absolutely! These are some of the pieces from ‘Wild Bloom’ by Bari J. for Art Gallery Fabrics, and we know that you have to love them as much as we do, right? #wildbloom
I took a break from quilt making to work on this #wikstenoversizedkimonojacket I have been obsessively following the hashtag and falling in love with everyone's versions. I just have the collar left to do! .
The pattern can be found in issue 4 of @makingzine and I hear there will be a paper pattern soon from @shopwiksten .
Of all the garments I’ve made, these #burnsidebibs by @sewhouse7 are probably my favorite. I like these so much that I got in front of the camera to show you . This pattern is great because there are two options: one is to have a gathered tie back (that’s what these are) and option two is more fitted in the back with darts and a side zipper. I’m definitely gonna make a more fitted denim pair to wear around the farm. Overalls are always a win in my opinion!
Did you know that standard patterns (Vogue, Simplicity, etc.) are made to fit a B size bra cup? No wonder that top you made didn't fit, right?! This Sunday, you can learn how to adjust for any bust size, small or large in Beth Galvin's Adjust the Bust class. For the first 3 hours, play with different bust adjustments on sample pattern blocks. Follow up the class with the 2 hour Tissue Fitting Lab that comes after the demo, where you can work with Beth to fit your own pattern. There are only 2 spots left in the Fit Lab, so don't wait to sign up! Find out more through the All Classes link in our bio.⠀
